Fun Autumn Events In Summerlin!
2nd Annual Latin Heritage Parade
Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Park Centre Drive
The 2nd Annual Latin Heritage Parade is bringing music, dancing, color, and culture to Downtown Summerlin for an evening celebrating Latin heritage.
Presented by Minero General Contractor, the event highlights the traditions, history, and contributions of Latin communities while giving attendees an opportunity to experience cultural performances in the heart of Summerlin.
The parade will feature local groups representing cultures from countries including Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and others.
For families and anyone interested in experiencing a lively cultural celebration, the event offers plenty to see and hear. Music and dance will take center stage as performers bring the streets around Downtown Summerlin to life.
The atmosphere is expected to be festive, energetic, and welcoming, making this a fun way to kick off the fall event season.
The event is also a chance to experience a side of Las Vegas that has little to do with casinos and everything to do with community, culture, and local traditions.

New Vista Wine Walk
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: The Pavilion
For a more grown-up night out, the New Vista Wine Walk is returning to Downtown Summerlin.
The popular event features more than 18 tasting stations offering a variety of red and white wines. Guests can stroll through the event, sample different selections, socialize, and enjoy an evening outdoors.
The Wine Walk has been a Southern Nevada tradition since 2004, and the event also supports a meaningful local cause.
Proceeds benefit New Vista, a Southern Nevada nonprofit that has served the community for decades by providing opportunities and supported living arrangements for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Tickets are priced at $50 for general admission when purchased in advance. General admission tickets purchased on the day of the event cost $60.
The Wine Walk is geared toward adults looking for a relaxed Saturday evening, but one of its biggest attractions is the social atmosphere. Friends can meet up, walk around Downtown Summerlin, sample different wines, and support a local nonprofit at the same time.
It is the kind of event that makes for an easy weekend night without requiring a trip all the way to the Las Vegas Strip.

Be My Neighbor Day
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: The Lawn
Families looking for something kid-friendly can head to Downtown Summerlin for Be My Neighbor Day.
Presented by Vegas PBS, the free event is designed around kindness, community, learning, and family fun.
The Lawn will become the center of the action from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with interactive activities, hands-on experiences, and special appearances from Daniel Tiger, one of PBS KIDS' best-known characters.
The event gives parents an opportunity to bring the kids out for a few hours without having to spend a fortune.
Beyond the entertainment, Be My Neighbor Day focuses on a simple message: being a good neighbor matters.
That makes the event a little different from the typical family outing. Kids can play and participate in activities while also learning about kindness, friendship, and helping others.
Because admission is free, it's an especially easy event to add to a fall weekend itinerary.

Festival of Arts 2026
Date: Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day
Location: The Lawn
Art lovers have another major Summerlin event to look forward to in October.
The Summerlin Festival of Arts is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, bringing three days of artwork, creativity, and community to The Lawn.
The annual festival features more than 100 fine artists from across the country. Artists are carefully selected by a jury of experts, giving visitors an opportunity to browse a wide variety of professional artwork in one location.
The festival isn't just about looking at paintings, either.
With family-friendly activities and plenty of different types of artwork to explore, there is something for a wide range of interests. Visitors can spend a few hours browsing the booths, discovering new artists, and enjoying the outdoor atmosphere.
The 30th anniversary also makes this year's festival particularly notable.
Over the years, the event has become one of Southern Nevada's established annual arts celebrations, attracting locals and visitors who want to experience something a little different from the entertainment typically associated with Las Vegas.
For anyone who enjoys art, shopping for something unique, or simply spending a fall day outside, the Festival of Arts is an easy event to add to the weekend schedule.

Summerlin Has Plenty Going On This Fall
Fall in Las Vegas doesn't mean the calendar suddenly gets quiet.
From the Latin Heritage Parade and New Vista Wine Walk to a free family day and the 30th annual Festival of Arts, Downtown Summerlin has a surprisingly diverse lineup of events coming up.
The best part is that these events appeal to different types of crowds. Families can head to Be My Neighbor Day, friends can meet up for the Wine Walk, art enthusiasts can spend a weekend at the Festival of Arts, and anyone looking for a cultural experience can check out the Latin Heritage Parade.
For Las Vegas residents, these events also offer an excuse to explore what's happening beyond the Strip.
Summerlin has grown into a destination of its own, and the fall calendar is another reminder that there are plenty of ways to spend a weekend in Southern Nevada without heading downtown or visiting a casino.
With fall approaching, now is a good time to start making plans.
